Jestřebice is a picturesque village north of Kokořín. The village has been a designated historic site since 1995. The first mention of Jestřebice dates back to 1407, and its founders were likely the Berka of Dubá family. Later, Jestřebice was incorporated into Houska Castle, where it remained until the 16th century. From 1609 onward, they belonged to nearby Vidim and shared its fate until the abolition of feudal administration in 1848. During the Thirty Years’ War, the village was partially devastated. In the 19th and 20th centuries, hop-growing flourished in the area around Jestřebice; it was typical of the Kokořín region, but has now completely disappeared. Today, Jestřebice is part of the municipality of Dobřeň.
