Želízy

The village has been a tourist destination since the 19th century. It’s sort of the southern ‘gateway to the Kokořín region’. The village offers camping grounds, a swimming pool and the junction of hiking and biking trails, including an educational trail. The nearby Devil's Heads and Klácelka Cave are worth seeing, as is the commemorative plaque at the former Stüdl Guesthouse, where the writer Franz Kafka stayed from 1919 to 1923.
