The mountain Vrátenská hora (508 m above sea level), located above the village of Libovice, is the highest peak in the Kokořín region. The observation tower at the summit offers a panoramic view. The observation deck of the telecommunications tower, accessible via 125 steps, is located 24 metres above ground level. In addition to the immediate surroundings, you can see Velký and Malý Bezděz, Ralsko and Říp Mountain from here. On a clear day, you can see the České středohoří Mountains with Milešovka, the Jizerské Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains. Please check the observation tower’s opening hours before your visit.
