Pekařova brána gate
Pekařova brána gate is a short road tunnel 4 metres long (its clearance height is 4.9 metres, although due to the shape of the curved arch, access is limited to vehicles up to 3.8 metres high).
The gate is man-made, and was opened in 1914. It was formed when the road was being constructed; the builders came up against a sandstone rock called The Monk and decided to leave it in place. They hewed a Gothic arch into it and also added steps leading up to the top. Pekařova brána is named after the Czech historian Josef Pekař.
